These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Ctrl Wallet Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of the British Virgin Islands ("Company"), governing your use of the Ctrl Wallet browser extension, mobile application, website (ctrl.xyz), and all related services (collectively, "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have legal capacity to enter contracts. You must not be located in or a citizen of any jurisdiction where the Services would be illegal, nor be on any government sanctions list.
Ctrl Wallet is a non-custodial, self-sovereign cryptocurrency wallet. We do not hold, control, or access your private keys, seed phrases, or assets at any time. You are solely responsible for custody and security of your credentials.
The Services are a software interface that facilitates your interaction with decentralized blockchain networks. We do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice and are not a bank, exchange, or financial advisor.
The Services may facilitate interaction with third-party DeFi applications and blockchain services. We do not operate, endorse, or control such protocols and bear no responsibility for your interactions with them.
You are solely responsible for: safeguarding your seed phrase and private keys; ensuring accuracy of transaction details before signing; maintaining adequate backups; complying with applicable laws and regulations; and all taxes arising from your transactions. WARNING: If you lose your seed phrase or private keys, we cannot recover your funds. There is no password reset.
You agree not to use the Services to violate applicable law; engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or financial crime; circumvent sanctions; transmit malware; reverse engineer any part of the Services; or engage in market manipulation.
Ctrl Wallet is free to download and use. Swap transactions may incur a small protocol fee, always disclosed before confirmation. Blockchain network fees (gas) are paid directly to blockchain validators, not collected by us.
All content, software, trademarks, and materials are owned by or licensed to Ctrl Wallet Ltd. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal non-commercial use only.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CTRL WALLET LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF FUNDS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ctrl Wallet Ltd and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under LCIA Arbitration Rules, conducted in English.

If you lose your private keys or seed phrase, access to your assets will be permanently and irrecoverably lost. Ctrl Wallet Ltd cannot assist with recovery.
Never share your seed phrase with anyone, including persons claiming to represent Ctrl Wallet Ltd. Always verify you are using official sources.
DeFi protocols carry additional risks including: impermanent loss, oracle manipulation, rug pulls, protocol governance changes, and MEV attacks.
Nothing in the Services constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Ctrl Wallet Ltd is not a licensed financial advisor. Seek independent professional advice before making financial decisions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CTRL WALLET LTD EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OF CRYPTOCURRENCY, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICES, THIRD-PARTY PROTOCOL FAILURES, MARKET VOLATILITY, REGULATORY ACTIONS, OR PHISHING ATTACKS.
